Roman and Medieval Evora tour

During the Evora tour, you will visit the city, the roman temple, and a pre-historical site nearby.

Taking the Evora tour is an excellent way to get to know the city and its roman and medieval heritages.

Évora is located 110 km east of Lisbon and is around a one-hour drive.

Due to its well-preserved old town center, Évora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also a member of the Most Ancient European Towns Network.

There are a good number of monuments you can visit in town and a few interesting sites on the surroundings.

We offer a very flexible tour that can be composed according to your preferences.

Access here for more pieces of information about Évora.

An example of a day tour to Évora can be:

We will pick you up at your hotel if it is located in Lisbon or the surroundings. If not, we can agree on the way to do it.

The transfer to and from Évora to your hotel is included in this program using a dedicated van.

In the morning you will spend some time walking in the city admiring its monuments and feeling its lifestyle.

Some monuments can be seen from the street, like the Roman temple, but another monument worth going inside for a guided visit is the Cathedral of Évora or the Chapel of Bones.

Lunch will be on your own. It can be in one of the many beautiful restaurants there.

The local food is delicious and quite different from the Lisbon gastronomy.

After lunch, a walk in the countryside will be in order, the perfect way to visit some pre-historical art and the region’s peculiar landscape.

Return to your hotel.

This plan is only an example. Other tour possibilities can be considered.
